My name is Alex.

I spent twenty years travelling the world as a salesperson. I have now decided to stop to live life at a“slower”pace, enjoying the mountains, walks in the forest, rock climbing, skiing in fresh snow…and relaxing whenever I feel like it. I’m always looking for something that doesn’t entail the frantic life of the city, but rather the simpler things - freedom and everyday life.

This is how Chalet Mirastelle was born.

Chalet Mirastelle stands at 1600 metres in the village of Mirastelle, from which it takes its name. A phenomenon unique to this area known as “lente di ingrandimento”, literally “magnifying glass”, makes it ideal for stargazing and watching the heavens..

A unique feature of this area is that a starwatcher does indeed feels as though they are in the centre of a huge magnifying glass above their head in convex form, which allows the constellations to be seen easily with the naked eye.

Chalet Mirastelle is situated at 200 metres from the downhill ski slopes and the ski lifts in the district of Passolanciano-Mailletta. It is just 700 metres from the ski slopes of Majelletta WE,which offer skiing with a splendid view of the sea, just a 50-minute drive from Chalet Mirastelle.

Chalet Mirastelle is ultimately “a marvellous and unspoilt spot to reconnect to the Earth”.
