Alpine skiing: Alpine skiing: you can head for the various ski resorts from Chalet Mirastelle with skis already on your feet, reach various lodges(Rifugio Pomilio at 1890 metres),or progress to Madonnina del Block Haus at 2045 metres, or go beyond…to then come back down in fresh snow.
Downhill skiing / snowboarding: There are schools for beginners, as well as blue, red or black runs, which can all be reached by….skiing.
There is also a ski resort near Chalet Mirastelle, which has Rails and Mini Pipes. In addition to this, a qualified team of federal teachers will be at your disposal directly on the slopes to provide information and take bookings for lessons of downhill skiing and snowboarding.
Mountain biking: the area offers an ample range of options for mountain bikers, with both tarmacked and untarmacked roads. You can practice downhill mountain biking on the downhill winter slopes which become tracks in summer, using the ski-lift in Passolanciano to get back up.
Rock climbing: Montabruzzo, a school of Alpine skiing, climbing and mountaineering, is situated in Riccamorice, just 10 kilometres from Chalet Mirastelle. At Montabruzzo offers classes and lessons of Alpine skiing, rock climbing, indoor climbing and climbs at high altitudes in Majella National Park.
Hiking and excursions: The Majella National Park offers infinite possibilities to hiking enthusiasts, from less demanding routes that everyone can enjoy to more strenuous hikes such as Monte Amaro (2793 metres).
